Retired school principal and grower, Hope
I first met Timo Neubauer more than 10 yrs ago when he enrolled his oldest child at Hope School where I worked at that time. In that context I came to know him as a school parent, who was interested in his sons progress and willing to help out around the school with tasks that needed to be done.
I have since maintained a connection with Timo, and am very encouraged by his preparedness to stand for Mayor and Council in the coming elections. With rate increases ballooning, rural 1 land being covered with housing and industrial parks, it is time for some fresh thinking around the Council table.
“If you do what you always do, you get what you always got,” and evidence would suggest that we are stuck in that cycle.
Change and accountability are needed urgently, so like me, vote for Timo Neubauer in the coming Local Body Elections.
