Timo Neubauer is passionate about Tasman and has heavily invested his own time and energy into our community over the past years. Now Timo is “walking the talk” by putting himself forward as Mayor – I have confidence that he will be committed to the role. He knows the region, the towns, and the people – he’s walked the tracks, farms a piece of land, connects with the community and has built a successful tourism business here.
I see someone with experience in urban design, energy and a long-term vision who wants to look after what we already have, protect what we value and make Tasman stronger for future generations. He wants to make finances sustainable by stopping urban sprawl and giving more housing choices for different ages and stages of life, which supports both rural and town communities. I’m excited for a positive change in direction with Timo at the helm – that’s why I’m voting Timo for Mayor.
