I’ve been following Timo’s journey for a while now, after being encouraged to connect with him by a former colleague of his in the UK. What I’ve found is a man engaged with both head and heart, in genuine dialogue with the Tasman region and its needs.
His approach is smart and grounded. He doesn’t suffer from the arrogance I so often see in these positions — if he doesn’t know something, he won’t bluff. He’ll say he doesn’t know, then go and find out and get back to you. I trust that response far more than politicking.
To me, Timo has always stood out as a smart, honest, and capable man. I wholeheartedly endorse his run for Mayor of Tasman.
